about the artist
Jamie was born in 1991 to a family of professional artists. At age 19 he moved to New York City and attended classes at the Art Students League of NY, where he studied traditional drawing and painting, as well as advanced mixed media under Bruce Dorfman. In 2015 Jamie was selected to create a large-scale public sculpture for the Model to Monument program in Manhattan.
Other significant projects include a public mural in Mexico City, exhibitions and work regarding the Dakota Access PipeLine, and live street performances with the TV Schooner. His work has appeared in At the Edge Magazine, Untapped Cities, and the Westside Rag. He currently works and lives in Brooklyn.
